About the event
Every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and included in their care. In this webinar, EMT and ASL4Responders founder Samika Agarwal will share the journey behind creating ASL4Responders—from experiences responding on emergency calls and volunteering in hospitals to learning American Sign Language and recognizing the communication barriers many patients face. Attendees will get an inside look at the motivation behind the project, a demonstration of the educational platform, and a discussion on why even learning a few practical signs can help build trust, improve patient interactions, and promote more accessible healthcare. The session will conclude with a live Q&A.
